Althuraya Invitations ("Althuraya", "we", "our", or "us") provides this page to explain how users can request deletion of personal data associated with their account or use of our services.
This page supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to customers, account holders, and users who have connected their accounts through Facebook, Instagram, or other Meta services.
Who Can Request Deletion
You may submit a data deletion request if you are:
- A registered Althuraya account holder.
- A user who previously signed in or connected using Facebook, Instagram, or another Meta service.
- An individual requesting deletion of personal information we hold about you in connection with our services.
Data That May Be Deleted
Upon a verified deletion request, we may delete or anonymize applicable personal information, including:
- Account profile information (name, email, phone number).
- Login and authentication records linked to your account.
- Meta platform connection data (such as profile identifiers, email, and profile picture) obtained through authorized permissions.
- Event details, invitation content, and customer-uploaded media associated with your account.
- Guest lists and RSVP data created under your account, where legally permissible.
- Support communications directly related to your account.
Data That May Be Retained
We may retain certain information when deletion is not permitted or when retention is required, including:
- Records required for legal, regulatory, tax, or accounting obligations.
- Information necessary to resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or protect platform security.
- Anonymized or aggregated data that no longer identifies an individual.
- Backup copies retained for a limited period before scheduled removal.
How to Request Data Deletion
To request deletion of your data, please follow these steps:
- Send an email to support@althuraya.store.
- Use the subject line: "Data Deletion Request".
- Include your full name and the email address associated with your Althuraya account.
- If applicable, include the Facebook or Instagram account email used for login.
- Describe the data you want deleted (account deletion or specific data removal).

We may ask for additional information to verify your identity before processing the request.
Facebook, Instagram, and Meta Login Data
If you connected your Althuraya account using Facebook, Instagram, or another Meta service, you may request deletion of data received through that integration.
You can also remove the Althuraya app connection from your Meta account settings. After disconnection, submit a deletion request using the instructions above so we can remove associated data stored on our platform.
- Remove app access from your Facebook or Instagram account settings.
- Submit a Data Deletion Request email to support@althuraya.store.
- Include the email or profile identifier used for Meta login, if available.
Meta user data is handled in accordance with Meta Platform Terms and is not sold or shared for advertising purposes.
Processing Timeline
We aim to review and process verified deletion requests within 30 days.
You will receive a confirmation once the request is received and after deletion or anonymization is completed, unless we are legally required to retain specific information.
